Recognized as a pioneer of open-source hardware, Moss-Pultz launched and was CEO of Openmoko Inc., the first open-source phone and precursor to iPhone and Android smartphones. Prior to Bitmark Inc., Moss-Pultz was a senior executive at EMQ Limited, a financial technology startup.
An artist and researcher interested in the transformation of culture through computational technologies, Alt holds a Masters in History & Philosophy of Science from Stanford University, and a Masters of Fine Arts in Design | Media Arts from UCLA. He has held professorships at Duke University and Columbia University.
As an accomplished embedded software programmer of 35 years, Hall has an expertise in Open Source OS and blockchain technology. Hall has also built microcontroller firmware and a range of embedded devices. Prior to Bitmark Inc., he worked with Sean Moss-Pultz to lead development of Openmoko and Intelligencia, a social reading platform.
As part of the first startup wave in Vietnam, Nguyễn scaled its first social networking service (Cyworld) to 4 million users, and also founded and grew its most successful micro-blogging service (Mimo) to 2 million users. He holds an MBA from Kellogg (Northwestern University).
Prior to his work at Bitmark, Lê was a developer at Cogini and Flexidata. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City.
Reas has exhibited his art at hundreds of exhibitions around the world and teaches in the Department of Design Media Arts at UCLA. With Ben Fry, he is the co-creator of the Processing programming platform. He is the co-author of several books about computer programming in the context of the visual arts. He is the co-founder of Feral File.

As the co-creator of Guitar Hero, the fastest video game to reach $1B in sales, Huang was named among the Top 50 Producers in New Media by the Producers Guild of America New Media Council. He sits on the board of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.

Lin has led a variety of technology startups and corporations as Chief Product Officer at Silver Spring Networks, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco’s Ethernet Switching Technology Group, and as a founding member of VeriSign before serving as Executive Vice President and General Manager of their Security Services division. She holds dual BA degrees from UC Berkeley for Computer Science and European History.
PETER SCHWABE, Professor Radboud University
Researching the optimization of cryptographic and cryptanalytic algorithms in software, Schwabe’s work targets a wide range of architectures from high-end parallel computing to low-power embedded systems. He received his Ph.D. from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science of Eindhoven University of Technology and completed his postdoctoral research at Academia Sinica and the National Taiwan University.

Constance Wang is an epidemiologist and community health scientist. She works with multi-sector social network collaboratives to develop ways in which community members can work together to prevent multiple disorders and diseases and improve community health and equity.
AMALIO TELENTI, Scripps Research Professor
A leading researcher of the human genome and other complex high throughput biological data for precision medicine, Telenti completed his medical training at the Mayo Clinic and postdoc research at the University of Bern in Switzerland. He was previously the chief scientific officer at Human Longevity, and has received honors including the Cloetta Award of Switzerland.
AMY WHITAKER, NYU professor and Author of Art Thinking
Whitaker holds an MBA from Yale and an MFA in Painting from the Slade School of Fine Arts. She researches ownership rights around creative work and is an entrepreneur-in-residence at the New Museum Incubator in New York.
MEGAN YIP, California Attorney and Estate Planner
In her work, Yip addresses how to plan for difficult situations presented by incapacity and death in our ever-changing tech landscape. Megan worked at the Borchard Foundation Center on Law & Aging with a placement at Legal Aid of Marin. She also worked at Twitter, Inc. on its Trust & Safety team focusing on site rules and policies addressing sensitive issues, including impersonation, online abuse, and deceased users.
